The Magic of the Ordinary: Small moments that create balance, rhythm, and connection
Her Story
For Stacey, art has always been a bridge--between generations, between places, and between the earthly and the divine.
Her journey began at the kitchen table of her grandmother, Hazel Elder, were a seven-year-old Stacey first learned the alchemy of oil paints. It was there, amidst the scent of linseed oil and the patient mixing of pigments, that she discovered how a single brushstroke could capture a feeling that words often miss.
Though life took her from the coast of Maryland to the mountains of Utah, that foundational love for the canvas remained her passion. After years of enjoying raising her family, Stacey has returned to the easel with a renewed sense of purpose. Supported by her husband, Aaron, and a community of fellow artists, she now balances the beautiful chaos of motherhood with the quiet discipline of the studio. Whether working in the rich depths of walnut ink or the luminosity of oils, Stacey's work serves as a "spark of remembrance"--a visual exploration of the enduring bonds of family and the life of Christ.
